HISTORY / VISION
BRIEF HISTORY
The Parwanoo Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd.
was registered by the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative societies, Solan (H.P) on 11-09-1997. The banking Licence was granted by RBI in December 1997.
The first branch of the Bank commenced operations on 10-04-1998 at Parwanoo.
The bank has currently 11 branches
i.e at Parwanoo, Dharampur, Solan, Baddi, Nalagarh, Shamti, Una, Hamirpur, Ghumarwin, Bilaspur & Sunder Nagar plus 2 Extension Counters at Sector 4 Parwanoo and Nalagarh.
Our whole network of branches is spread in Solan, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi Districts of Himachal Pradesh. The area of operation of the Bank extends to whole State of Himachal Pradesh.
OUR MISSION AND VISION
Our Bank's aim is to provide affordable banking facilities to the common people of the State of Himachal Pradesh. We operate with the aim to give a healthy growth in deposits, and advances to facilitate much needed credit in our area of operation which extends to whole of the State of Himachal Pradesh by lending to individuals, business class (trading, manufacturing and services sector), and priority sector and use a part of our profits for the benefit of the society.
Our vision is to be a bank par excellence that is respected and admired in its area of operation, we aim to gain the trust of our customers and stake holders through ethical and professional banking practices. Our bank's business philosophy is based on core values i.e operational excellence, Customer focus and Up-liftment of the society through Co-operation. Over the years, the bank has nurtured its traditional values in business practices and in serving the small customers. To adapt to the ever changing technological era, the bank has adopted new technologies and advanced banking tools to add value to its services. PUCBL considers 'customer delight' as the ultimate objective. We extend whole hearted support to all customers & stakeholders. We are committed to provide banking with pace, comfort and convenience. We provide economical support to the poor & middle class people in the state of Himachal Pradesh especially in our command area of operation by expanding our services to the different locations in the HP State to reach every people who are in need of Banking Services.

Nomination
The Account holder's / Safe Deposit Locker holder may nominate a person to receive the amount at credit of the account in the event of the demise of the Accounts holder/s / Safe Deposit Locker holder.
We are collecting water bills issued by HIMUDA/MC at the branches of the Bank free of charge.
In association with the Department of Income Tax, particularly to facilitate the Senior Citizens, the Bank accepts Income Tax Returns at our branch office at Solan.

We are providing the very convenient banking hours to the business, rural & semi-urban people
Monday to Friday: Morning: 09.45a.m. to 04.00p.m.
Saturday:Morning: 09.45a.m. to 04.00p.m.
2nd and 4th Saturday will remain holiday.
